What is patent law? Patent law protects inventions and discoveries by granting the inventor exclusive rights to make, use, and sell their invention for a limited period — typically 20 years for utility patents. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) requires that patentable inventions be novel, non-obvious, and useful. Patent prosecution (the application process) requires a licensed patent attorney or patent agent. While Sasha Brodsky is not a registered patent attorney and does not prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, he provides counsel on patent-related business matters, licensing agreements, and refers clients to qualified patent attorneys when prosecution is needed.

Sasha Brodsky is not a patent attorney and does not prosecute patent applications. However, he does provide counsel on patent-related business matters and frequently refers clients to highly-skilled patent attorneys when appropriate.
